Planned Parenthood of Michigan – which operates in a state that recently enshrined an absolute right to abortion any time, for any person, and for any reason, into the state constitution – is now expanding services to offer Michigan men vasectomies.

The organization cited increased demand for “permanent birth control” as the impetus behind this new procedure, claiming that the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health decision prompted this rise despite the fact that Michiganders have access to the some of the most permissive abortion laws in the country.

At a time when Planned Parenthood is in “crisis” nationwide, it’s unsurprising that they are promoting abortion access hysteria and rushing to sterilize men at $800 a piece. What is surprising, and incredibly unethical, however, is the possibility that Michigan residents could be forced to fund these procedures through their tax dollars or insurance plans.
