How Solidarity Works
for Providers

What is Health Sharing?

Healthcare sharing ministries provide a way to pay for healthcare costs that is different than traditional health insurance. Members of our ministry pay a Monthly Contribution. This is then used to pay for the healthcare needs of other Members. When they have a healthcare need and have met their Annual Unshared Amount, other Members will pay for the submitted healthcare needs.

Members also agree to a common set of beliefs that help determine which medical costs are eligible for sharing by the community. Our Sharing Guidelines are guided by the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. These beliefs help define what is not eligible for sharing, but just as importantly they help define what is eligible for sharing. Our Catholic beliefs have led us to share into many treatments that are often overlooked, such as life-affirming fertility treatments, mental health counseling, and sterilization reversals, to name a few.

Please review Section VII of the Sharing Guidelines to see what is and is not eligible for Sharing.
