At Solidarity HealthShare, we are committed to helping Members easily access comprehensive, affordable care. To that end, we’ve developed a Preferred Provider list that features individuals or organizations that have agreed to bill Solidarity HealthShare directly. Each month, we update the list for our Members so they can conveniently access affordable, ethical healthcare options in their area. Our Preferred Provider agreements vary from individuals with small businesses to large, multi-location clinics that span the United States. In September 2024, we finalized a partnership with Green Imaging, an organization which provides centralized access to thousands of imaging centers nationwide.
What is Green Imaging?
Green Imaging is a full service virtual medical imaging company owned and operated by a group of board-certified radiologists. They help patients make informed decisions about MRIs, CTs, and other imaging procedures. One of the most unique features of their organization is their cash-pay price is the final price that patients pay: no fees are added after the fact – which is not the case at many other clinics, which often attach new fees to the final bill, such as radiologist fees.
Green Imaging has an impressive 4,500 locations in all 50 states, and costs are only a fraction of what our Members would expect to pay at a hospital. When we launched our partnership, we were thrilled to learn that location analyses show that over 99% of our Members have a Green Imaging facility within 70-80 miles of their homes. For many of our Members who live outside large, urban areas, this is an important, exciting development.
