How Our Preferred Provider Program Helps Members Access Easier, More Affordable Care

Finding a healthcare provider can be complicated, especially when seeking one that provides quality care at an affordable rate. For some families, quality healthcare is often too pricey or too far away. To that end, we’re committed to offering our Members quality solutions when it comes to healthcare.

What is a Solidarity Preferred Provider?

A Preferred Provider is a healthcare professional or medical facility that has signed a direct agreement with Solidarity HealthShare. Through this agreement, the provider commits to billing the ministry directly and offering fair, pre-negotiated pricing for their services.

Unlike traditional insurance networks that restrict patients to a specific list of doctors, we allow Members to visit any licensed healthcare provider they choose. We know that having a say in who they work with is an important factor for many Members, and we want to make sure they have that decision-making ability. When Members use a Preferred Provider the process tends to be smoother because billing and pricing expectations are already established.

Another benefit of the program is faster and more efficient bill processing. Preferred Providers work directly with our Provider Relations team, allowing for expedited claim handling and improved communication. This collaboration helps ensure that Members receive timely care and that providers are paid promptly for their services.

Where are the Preferred Providers Located?

We get asked this question a lot, and the answer is simple. Our Preferred Providers are located all over the country. Preferred Providers range from individuals providing specialized services to large, multi-location healthcare facilities. Each month, our Provider Relations team add entries to the growing list of Preferred Providers that our Members can access at any given time.

Large Healthcare Organizations Offer Care to Families Around the Country

While many of our Preferred Providers have a single location, we are proud to have agreements with Members that have several locations. One such Preferred Provider is Green Imaging.

Green Imaging is a virtual medical imaging company owned and operated by board-certified radiologists. Their mission is to help patients make informed decisions about imaging procedures while providing clear and upfront pricing and are accessible around the country. Green Imaging provides centralized access to more than 4,500 imaging locations across all 50 states, making it easy for Solidarity Members to find a nearby facility. In fact, over 99% of all Solidarity Members live within 70–80 miles of a Green Imaging location, improving access to diagnostic services for both urban and rural communities.

Like Green Imaging, Athletico Physical Therapy is another healthcare facility that boasts an impressive 900+ locations across 24 states and in Washington D.C. Committed to expert physical therapy care, Athletico focuses on patient-centered care, injury prevention, and recovery for athletes and everyday patients. Their services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, workers’ compensation rehabilitation, and orthopedic care, often partnering with physicians, employers, and sports teams nationwide for a wider reach.

Provider Examples: It’s Quality that Matters, Not the Size

Our Preferred Providers all have one trait in common: a commitment to quality, affordable care. In the case of healthcare facilities like Plum Pediatrics, located in Midland, Texas, they have proudly provided 35 years of extraordinary care of cranial technologies for over 40,000 infants. Utilizing cutting edge technologies and FDA-approved equipment, they’ve earned the trust of thousands of families, locally and beyond.

At the Center for Healing and Growth, located in Wichita, Kansas, a team of caring, compassionate and fully licensed professionals are committed to providing excellent care to individuals recovering from addiction, trauma, and more.

Located in Peosta, Iowa, Burd’s Family Practice is committed to providing excellent care to patients of all ages. Whether it’s routine check-ups, managing chronic conditions, or preventive care, their caring, compassionate team is ready to help families for all of their healthcare needs.

In Spokane Valley, Washington, the experts at U-District Physical Therapy provide expert care to empower patients to meet their health and well-being potential. With encouragement, teamwork, and development, they make a difference in countless individuals’ lives throughout the year.

Preferred Providers: An Overview of Stats

Since the introduction of our Preferred Providers program, we’ve grown from a handful of medical professionals to a sizable list that continues to grow with each passing month. In 2025 alone, we added 133 new providers, with a total of 1,726 service locations around the United States.

How Does the Preferred Provider Process Work?

Many of our new Preferred Providers come from Member recommendations, allowing us to connect with new organizations and individuals around the United States.

The first step to nominate a Preferred Provider is to fill out the Provider Nomination Form. Once that form is completed and submitted by a Member, our Provider Relations Team will reach out and begin the process of helping the provider become a Preferred Provider. While the timeframe varies, it can take up to three months to add a provider to the list.
