Announcing Preferred Provider Relationship with Green Imaging

Our healthcare ministry is committed to helping our Members access comprehensive, affordable care easily. This is why we’ve developed a list of Preferred Providers who have agreed to bill Solidarity directly. We work with them to make sure they are charging fair and reasonable rates for our Members. One of our most recent agreements is with Green Imaging, which provides centralized access to thousands of imaging centers nationwide. Their services save untold hours in aggregate shopping for high quality care at affordable prices.

This partnership will provide our Members with access to over 4500 locations in 50 states where they can get imaging services. All for a fraction of the cost that you can expect at a hospital. Green Imaging saves patients an average of 60% on major imaging, with a savings of 79% per CT scan. Why pay $1,200 to $7,000 for a hospital MRI when it can cost as low as $390 through Green Imaging?

What is Green Imaging?

Green Imaging is a full service virtual medical imaging company owned and operated by a group of board-certified radiologists. They help patients make informed decisions about MRIs, CTs, and other imaging procedures. Unlike other imaging facilities, the cash-pay price they provide is the final price for the service, with no extra charge for the radiologist fee or other such add-ons.

When addressing the need for accessible care for Members in both metropolitan and rural areas, Green Imaging is able to provide extremely accessible imaging. Our analysis showed that 99.10% of all Solidarity Members are within 70-80 miles of a Green Imaging facility. For 96% of our Members, that distance was halved at just 30-40 miles of travel. Nearly 70% of Members have less than a 10 mile drive to the nearest facility for medical imaging needs!

Utilizing Green Imaging as a Solidarity HealthShare Member

So how do we as Members tap into these services? Any time your provider prescribes imaging, you can take that order and have it filled at any location that offers imaging services. You don’t need to go to the specific facility that your provider recommends. Which is good, because that allows you to choose locations that offer better prices and better service!

In that situation, just give our Member Care team a call, and they will help you request Care Navigation options. Or you can request them yourself by filling out this form online. Our Care Navigation team will review your request, and find all the best options near you that perform imaging, including Green Imaging locations. They will then follow up with you with all the information you need to schedule an appointment with those providers.

Once you are scheduled for a visit with a Green Imaging location, they will bill Solidarity directly for your service. The only amount that you will be responsible for is any amount that you still have outstanding towards your Annual Unshared Amount. Be prepared to pay that amount at the time of service, and they will submit the bill notifying us that your service went towards your Annual Unshared Amount.
